Enrollment Requirements
Flight training in the United States or Canada offers one of the most accessible and efficient routes to obtaining your Commercial Pilot and Airline Pilot licenses, setting the stage for a successful aviation career. At Aero Consultation, we are dedicated to maintaining and improving this accessibility, ensuring that all students have the chance to pursue commercial aviation training. Our focus is on helping students assess their commitment to this field and their ability to complete the training within the set timeframe and budget.
Applicants should understand that, while aviation training has become more accessible, it remains a challenging and demanding path. Aspiring pilots must demonstrate key qualities such as discipline, attention to detail, multitasking skills, the ability to learn quickly, and the capacity to make quick, sound decisions.

Therefore, to be admitted into any of the Professional Pilot Programs, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
1. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Students enrolling in pilot training programs must have at least a high school diploma, commonly known as "secondary education," to qualify for an airline transport pilot license. This requirement ensures that all aspiring pilots possess a fundamental level of education, which is crucial for understanding the theoretical and technical aspects of aviation training.

In addition to traditional high school diplomas, other equivalent certifications, such as the General Educational Development (GED) certificate or international equivalents, are also accepted. The GED serves as an alternative for those who did not complete a conventional high school education but have demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills. Other accepted equivalents may include secondary school completion certificates recognized by the education systems in other countries, such as A-Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB), or other nationally recognized qualifications that fulfill the secondary education requirement.
2. English Proficiency Certificate
An upper-intermediate level of English proficiency is essential for obtaining professional flight crew licenses, not just in the U.S., Canada, or other English-speaking countries, but in all ICAO-regulated nations worldwide. Our professional pilot programs include both training and internships, requiring participants to obtain academic visas that allow for internships. To qualify for these visas, applicants must provide proof of academic English proficiency through certifications such as IELTS, TOEFL, or TOEIC. Refer to the minimum acceptable scores listed below.

Note: Starting August 1, 2024, applicants for U.S. programs who do not have an English test score at the time of enrollment may still enroll by passing a brief video admission interview. They will then be required to take an IELTS Academic English test upon arrival in the United States for training.
3. Medical Conditions
Good physical health is essential for securing a Class 1 medical pilot certification. Pilots must not have any disqualifying medical conditions and must meet the required standards of overall physical fitness.
4. Funds Statements
Financial requirements play a crucial role in the admission process. Your financial status will be reviewed by the U.S. consulate when you apply for a student visa, where you must demonstrate sufficient funds to cover the entire Flight Training Program and initial living expenses. The funds can be shown as bank statements, escrow accounts, student loan approval letters, or a mix of these; however, investment accounts and real estate portfolios are not recognized.
